About Scouting

• It's for the whole family.  Cub Scouting works best when parents or caring adults are involved,  You don't have to be an expert- we'll help you find a way to participate.

• Kids make friends.  Scouts build friendships with kids their own age while getting opportunities to interact with the entire pack.

• We do more than meetings.  Our program includes camping, outdoor adventures, Pinewood Derby, service projects, community events, games, crafts, STEM activities, and other hands-on experiences.

• Scouts learn real-life skills.  Leadership, teamwork, responsibility, problem-solving, confidence, citizenship, and independence are woven into the program.

• Everyone belongs.  Whether your child is outgoing or shy, athletic or artistic, experienced or brand new, there is a place for them in our pack.

• We want kids to have fun.  At the heart of Cub Scouts is adventure, laughter, exploration, and making memories.   

• We are building something together.  Every family who participates helps strengthen the Pack and creates opportunities for more children in our community.

• Cub scouts prepares kids for what's next.  The skills and confidence they develop can help them continue into Scouts BSA and beyond.  

• You don't need to know anything about Scouting to join.  New families are welcome, and we'll explain everything along the way.
