Raingutter Regatta Pack 90 Style

posted Dec 17, 2016, 5:35 AM by Gary Manns
This was another new activity which 17 Scouts and several siblings participated in. We gathered in the backyard of one of my neighbors who has spent the last 20+ years building a 28” sailboat. The boys got a chance to meet the Gast family (Mom, Dad and son Rob) and learned about the features of a sailboat. Not only did we get a chance to get on the boat, but the Scouts built their own miniature sailboat that we then floated down the creek in the main Forest Hills Park. This was a wonderful event and clearly enjoyed by everyone. Thank you Gast family for inviting us to your home to see your amazing sailboat!
